Spiced Pear Crepes

These crêpes can be served for breakfast or even dessert.



Pear Filling

  • 4 small pears
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon cardamom
  • pinch of salt



  1. Make crêpes.

Pear Filling

  1. Peel and chop the pears.
  2. Melt butter in the pan then add the brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and salt.
  3. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Add in the chopped pears and cook until tender.
  5. Keep at a low temperature so the mixture will stay warm.

Assemble the crêpes

  1. Fold the crêpes to a half circle and then fold in half again for a quarter-circle to make a sort of triangle shape.
  2. Drizzle honey on top of the crêpe then top with pear mixture.
  3. You can also serve fresh whipped cream on top of the crêpe.
