Leah is a self taught cook and baker. She resides in the United States with her husband and cats. In her spare time she is usually in the kitchen testing out new recipes.

Growing up, her mother was the one to always cook. Her father would occasionally do the cooking; sometimes it ended up with burnt taco shells and upset children. That is a story for another time.

She did not start her cooking until she was engaged. She would spend Sunday afternoons cooking and baking with her then future mother-in-law. Once married she started doing all the cooking and fell in love with it. Trying new recipes generates intrigue as well as learning the history behind it.

It brings her joy to cook for others and she hopes to be able to do this for years to come.

As the famous chef Julia Child once said, “Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.”
