Lemon Caper Mahi Mahi

A quick and delicious recipe that can be prepared with Pacific Cod, Halibut, Mahi Mahi, or Sea Bass.


  • 4 mahi-mahi filets (4oz each)
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons capers


  1. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in pan.
  2. Chop garlic cloves and add into melted butter.
  3. Pat the mahi filets dry.
  4. Season filets with salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  5. Place filets into melted butter and garlic.
  6. Squeeze half of a lemon into the pan.
  7. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on one side.
  8. Turn the filets to the other side and add capers, remaining 4 tablespoons of butter, and juice from the second half of the lemon.
  9. Cook for an additional 4 minutes making sure to spoon the sauce over the filets as they cook.
  10. Transfer to plate and garnish with more parsley and freshly squeezed lemon as desired.
