Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse

A quick and decadent chocolate dessert

This no bake Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse is rich, creamy, and chocolatey. For a little autumn kick I like to add in warming spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. If you need a quick dessert look no further.


  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg


  • Crushed Oreos
  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg


  1. Place the cold cream in a mixing bowl.
  2. Using a whisk attachment beat the cream on medium speed, until soft peaks form.
  3. Put the whipped cream in a separate bowl and set aside.
  4. To the mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Set the mixer to low speed and gradually increase to medium. Beat until the mixture becomes light in color. The mixture should be well combined. This should take about 2 minutes.
  6. Take half of the whipped cream and add it to the chocolate cream cheese mixture. Fold gently until combined. Repeat with remaining whipped cream.
  7. Evenly distribute the mousse between 4 small dessert bowls. I used ramekins.
  8. Garnish with desired toppings - crushed Oreos, whipped cream, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  9. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  10. Enjoy!
