Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups buttermilk
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Melt 8 tablespoons of butter and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients.
- In a smaller bowl whisk the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Once fully incorporated add in the melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.
